The goal of this kind of tourism is satisfying the desire of knowledge and expanding civilized, historical, and cultural encyclopedia especially after building the library of Alexandria this scientific and cultural edifice that completed the enlightenment and science system. It is the connection link of Egypt heritage and the heritage of the world. The new library of Alexandria lies alongside the University and overlooks the Mediterranean in Selsela area. It was designed as an incomplete cylinder leaning towards the sea indicating the sun and its beams on the world. The outside walls are covered with a layer of granite from Aswan, which holds numerous symbols and alphabetical letters representing different civilizations. The library consists of eleven floors, it was built on an area of 85,405 meters and its height is 33 meters It contains; the main library, youth library, the blind’s library, science museum, calligraphy museum, international school of information studies, and conservation and restoration laboratory
